Don’t you just hate it when your favourite eyeliner or lip liner dries up and becomes very difficult to apply? I know the feeling! It has happened to me many a time! The only option is to just throw them away, right? Wrong!
You don’t really need to throw away your favourite lip or eye pencil just because it’s become dry. You can actually use them just like before with the help of a simple trick! And that’s exactly what we are going to show you today.
Bring out all those pencils you were planning to dump in the trash. It’s time we gave them a new lease of life!
You will need:
- A dried lip liner
- Sharpener
- Vaseline
- Candle
How To:
Step 01:
Take your dried lip liner and sharpen it with a sharpener. You needn’t sharpen layer after layer, just give one full twist to remove the topmost dried layer of the formula.
Step 02:
Place the tip of the sharpened lip pencil on your index finger and rub it by twisting it in circular motions. You can also place the topmost part of the pencil between your palms and rub it vigorously to warm up the product. Alternatively, you can even place the tip of the lip pencil over a candle flame for a couple of seconds.
Step 03:
Then, take a very small amount of Vaseline on a thin brush. Use it to coat the lip pencil. This will help hydrate the formula and remove further dryness. Leave the lip pencil to soak up the Vaseline for a good 5 to 10 minutes. Then go ahead and use it.
